Performs therapeutic and qi exercises, breathing techniques, meditation, and the use of biofeedback devices that utilize heat, cold, color, light, lasers, sound, vibration, pressure, magnetism, electricity, electromagnetic energy and other therapeutic means. About Center for Life (CFL): The Center for Life integrates conventional and complementary medicines and practices to focus on healing through acupuncture, touch therapies (massage and acupuncture) and integratively trained physician visits.

Doctor of Oriental Medicine

Authorized to order appropriate diagnostic procedure reasonably necessary to clinically correlate a physical examination to a diagnostic impression; which shall include, but not be limited to laboratory procedures involving the collection of human fluids and special imaging, such as x-ray; CT scan, MRI, nuclear scans, ultrasonography, thermography, B.E.A.M., EEG, EKG, ECG and surface or needle EMG. Duties and Responsibilities of a Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine: Provides and manages direct patient care, including physical examinations, evaluations, assessments, diagnoses, and specialized chiropractic medicine procedures and treatments for a specified patient population.

Other responsibilities include providing social work intervention services for families of premature and/or critically ill infants as part of an interdisciplinary team, case management, psychosocial evaluation/assessments, developing effective intervention plans in a high-intensity, clinical environment, and train lower level social workers, students, and/or interns, as appropriate to the individual position.
