The LPMHC Program Manager (BHIP PM) manages the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP) and is directly responsible for the overall administrative, clinical, and programmatic management of the BHIP program and reports directly to the Deputy Chief of the Mental Service and ultimately to the Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health (ACOS MH). The Department of Veterans Affairs performs pre-employment reference checks as an assessment method used in the hiring process to verify information provided by a candidate (e.g., on resume or during interview or hiring process); gain additional knowledge regarding a candidates abilities; and assist a hiring manager with making a final selection for a position.
