p>RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee and own the day-to-day EHS site management of a fast-paced, high impact construction project including the responsibilities below:
- Implement, enforce, and audit the site's construction contractor EHS management program for SpaceX employees involved in or associated with contractor operations, ensuring requirements are understood and followed by contractors and subcontractors performing work for SpaceX.
- Develop and maintain documented safety observations from regular hazard identification inspections of facilities, machinery, safety equipment, and on-site construction to identify, mitigate hazards, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and/or guidelines established by OSHA, NFPA and NIOSH and other applicable regulatory agencies, with particular attention to crane, rigging, heavy equipment, welding, and fabrication activities.
