Technical Skills: Knowledge of aircraft engine components, controls & accessories, and/or aircraft interiors preferred; knowledge of aerospace materials and coatings is preferred; knowledge of conventional aerospace manufacturing methods, including; milling, turning, grinding, lapping, stamping, forging, casting, molding, EDM, ECM, welding, brazing, heat treating, etc. is preferred, knowledge of basic structural, thermal, and modal analysis of mechanical components required. ROLE: The Director of Manufacturing Engineering owns the strategic and tactical responsibility for implementing manufacturing strategy and strategic operational goals to exceed customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery, maximizing efficiency, optimizing production levels and driving operational excellence.
