ul>Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Radiologic principals/theory and utilizes the most appropriate technique and positioning for optimal procedures/treatments, as demonstrated by procedure/treatment results. - Registered by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography ARDMS and/or Registered Vascular Technologist RVT or new graduate who is waiting to take the registry.
Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients throughout the area; educate patients regarding their procedure, and maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam. M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.
p>Minimum Required: - Graduate of a school of technologist with proof of graduation or at any time; was employed as a surgical technologist for not less than 18 months in a hospital or surgery. Provides aid in exposure, homeostasis, and other technical functions that will help the surgeon carry out safe operation with optimal results for the patient.
Education and Experience Required: Graduate of a radiologic technology program accredited by a mechanism acceptable to the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or other educational program acceptable to meet ARRT registration requirements.
