Experience, Education, and Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology from an accredited college or university preferred • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in one of the chemical, physical, or biological sciences with the addition of at least one year of laboratory experience/training/training course • 1+ years equivalent experience (high complexity testing) preferred • Certificate Compliance Requirements: • Nationally: ASCP certification for the assigned specialty, as available • FL: current state license to perform laboratory testing = Clinical Laboratory Technologist • CA: current state license to perform laboratory testing = Clinical Laboratory Scientist or Clinical Cytogeneticist Scientist or Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist • TN: current state license to perform laboratory testing = Medical Laboratory Professional.
