Good understanding of federal, state and local regulatory authority, including: EPA, OSHA, DOT, and familiarity with federal, RCRA, CWA, SWPPP, SPCC, PSM, PHA, LOTO, PPE, HAZMAT, Machine Guarding, GHS, Confined Space Entry, Crane Safety, and Forklift Training. Scope of Position: The Environmental Health and Safety Specialist (EHS) is responsible for implementing existing company EHS programs and ensuring regulatory compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations, coordinating with the leaders and workers throughout the organization.
