While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to type or dial, reach with hands and arms, use stairways to climb to multiple floors within office building, talk or hear, taste or smell, and be exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and vibration. Surgical proficiency in treating conditions onsite at facilities such as Elongated nails, Fungal nails, corns, calluses, ingrown nails, tumors, shortened tendons, cysts, or abscesses.

Verify that any medications brought into the facility by a newly admitted resident are examined and identified by the attending physician or the facility pharmacy or pharmacist • Follow facility policies and procedures regarding the destroying of medications; assist in carrying out these rules under the direction of the facility pharmacist or Director of Nursing Services, including the documentation requirements. General Purpose The primary purpose of your job position is to assist in the administering of medications to residents as ordered by the attending physician, under the direction of the attending physician, the nurse supervisor or charge nurse, and the Director of Nursing Services.

p>Role Responsibilities:

• Provides initial and annual history and physical evaluation, assesses eligibility for treatment, evaluates patients' history of dependence on opioids;
• Orders appropriate laboratory studies, reviews laboratory results and provides necessary education, referral and / or follow up services to patients;
• Monitors the treatment plans of high risk patients.

  Role as Nurse Practitioner:

  The Nurse Practitioner provides advanced nursing care under the supervision of the Medical Director; may also be directed by Nurse Supervisor for the clinic under the state licensure guidelines for Nurse Practitioners; evaluates and monitors treatment of patients as part of a healthcare team at the clinic.

This position is frequently subject to inside environmental conditions which provide protection from weather conditions, but not necessarily from temperature changes, and is occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions. Interprets lab, EKG, oximetry, x-ray, and other studies and provide the client with timely reports as to the findings, appropriate treatment, and options when available.

• Coordinates the daily base activities of the Flight Nurse and Flight Paramedics by stopping by the base a minimum of three times a week, exceptions will include PM's with multiple bases or business related activities which preclude the visits.
• Receives medically related flight problems or issues from medical crews, aviation staff, communications center staff, customers and patients.
