Essential Functions:Provide on-site supervision of commercial plumbing crewsPromote and monitor safety of all aspects at all timesWork proactively with subcontractors, foremen, tradesmen and general contractor to remove obstacles and promote efficiencyPlan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functionsPerform material take-offs, ordering tools, materials and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivityResponsible for quality installation of plumbing activitiesCoordinate, inspect and track all deliveries and track against shipping documentsCoordinate labor and equipment for loading, unloading and distribution of material on siteForecast labor needs to superintendent and foremen, based upon anticipated deliveriesResponsible for directly performing a wide range of skilled construction tasksCoordinate and manage all composite cleanup crew efforts Monitor daily activities and compile reports on progress, compliance, and obstaclesEnforce safety and legal regulations to ensure a safe job siteCommunicate with subcontractors and field staff to ensure adherence to schedules, plans, and specificationsManagement, inspection and upkeep of project shared toolsRecord and monitor inventory of tools and material, with support from ForemenMaintain cleanliness of trailer, work area and material storage areaPerforms other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibility: YesRequired:5+ years of commercial experience in field plumbing operations field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experienceExtensive knowledge of plumbing systems installationAbility to successfully supervise crewsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPrevious knowledge of man hour reports, job cost reports, workforce planning and estimatingUnderstanding of construction cost control, forecasting and setting goalsStrong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability to work across varied disciplinesKnowledge of other mechanical trade disciplinesProficient in Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to effectively present information to customers, clients and colleaguesMust be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skillsMust adhere to all company policy and proceduresMust be available, and have the means to report to multiple job sites as assigned The work environment and physical demands required would be representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, and may include, but are not limited to the following: Work Environment:May work in varying temperatures; both inside and outside, including inclement weather, heat, humidity, cold, and dampnessMay work in areas with exposure to moderate/high noise levelsMay be exposed to fumes or airborne particles including dustMay be required to work in confined spaces or from high heightsPhysical Demands:This role routinely uses construction equipment such as heavy machinery, hand and power tools While performing duties of the job the employee may work aloft, climb, bend, pull, reach overhead, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
