The position plays a key role in maintaining supply continuity, optimizing inventory, and supporting business objectives through effective supplier management and cross-functional collaboration.
Summary: The Manufacturing Supply Chain Planner will utilize the Supply Chain Management System to create and manage the release of manufacturing plans that are achievable and realistic while minimizing excess work-in-process inventory and enabling final assembly schedules to be executed at or above completion goals. Manage and maintain critical planning parameters including manufacturing lead-times, order minimums, order maximums, safety stock levels, shrinkage factors, and other variables that impact plan effectiveness; communicate concerns to management.
