Responsibilities: Your role will be to 1) Develop, shape, and smooth analysis, papers and presentations in support of Flag-level policy decisions, 2) Develop expertise in assigned areas through completion of assigned training, written research, and interviews with subject matter experts, 3) Maintain status, drive progress and provide frequent updates on all assigned tasks, 4) Communicate clearly and concisely across a wide range of products including e-mail, after-action reports, policy or other structured papers, data analytics, and flag-level briefings, 5) Organize and support virtual and in-person meetings where much of our difficult trilateral coordination is accomplished, 6) Exercise project leadership. Director Submarine Program unifies submarine platform procurement activities, which includes the Columbia-class SSBN program (a Major Defense Acquisition Program and the Navy’s top acquisition priority), the Virginia-class SSN program, the new SSN-X program (developing the next generation attack submarine), and the AUKUS Integration and Acquisition Office, to bring improved capabilities to our undersea forces.
