The Manufacturing Professional Training Lead owns the end‑to‑end learning strategy for all manufacturing support functions (industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, production control, etc.) This role designs, delivers, and continuously improves professional‑development programs that enhance technical competence, safety awareness, and leadership capabilities, ensuring the workforce can meet current production demands and future growth initiatives. This training professional will collaborate with instructional design staff and subject matter experts to identify, plan, create, design, test, implement, deliver, support, and maintain effective and engaging learning opportunities and training activities through a variety of modalities (self-paced, in-person, mobile, virtual, video, job aids, microlearning, articles, etc.).

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements, support New Product Introductions (NPIs) and Product Change Notifications (PCNs), and lead continuous improvement, cost-saving, and equipment-qualification initiatives across grooving, milling, and cleaning-room operations.

As a new hire in this role, you will be responsible for the back-end manufacturing processes within the CMP Polishing Pads Business Unit at our Aurora 500C facility, with primary ownership of the grooving process (eCAM 4-axis CNC and Multicam 4-axis CNC groovers) and the Multicam milling operations.

Implement small-scale process improvements, train operators on SOPs, and manage hardware disposition by evaluating defective or non-conforming hardware for repair, rework, or replacement.
