Participates in the preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance, 5S and equipment improvement teams, • Completes work orders in a safe and appropriate manner, • Maintains open communication with production employees, • Provides support to maintenance technicians, • Ability to run basic machine shop equipment, • Works within scheduling requirements, • Performs tasks to install, monitor and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment to ensure reliability, • Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines, • Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service, • Diagnoses problems, replaces or repairs parts, tests and makes adjustments, • Documents spare parts usage, • Uses a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties, • Detects faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision, • Performs other required tasks as assigned, Job Requirements. • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience; preferably with hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and industrial knowledge, • Familiar with manufacturing, safety and quality process concepts, practices, and procedures, • Some knowledge and understanding of electrical, mechanical, fluid power and control systems, • Must be able to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate, • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, • Ability to work within a team environment, • Time management skills, • Detail oriented.
