Support includes the technical repair and overhaul of landing gear, fuel tanks, pylons, screw jacks, hydraulics, and pneudraulics for the following platforms: C-5, C-17, C-130, B-1B, B-2, B-52, KC-135, A-10, T-38, E-2, E-3, F-4, F-15, F-16, F-22, F-35, MH-53, and MH-60 in accordance with the Air Force technical directives, applicable technical data, and federal contract requirements. The Machinist shall perform machining computations involving dimensions, tolerances, feeds, speeds, and tooling requirements; apply knowledge of the working properties of common metals; and select appropriate materials, parts, and equipment necessary to complete assigned tasks.
