Deep technical expertise in electrical, civil, or structural engineering with a strong emphasis on substation design (e.g., physical layout, protection & controls, relay settings, grounding, and equipment integration), and the ability to provide executive-level technical oversight, governance, and risk-based decision-making. Strong understanding of utility industry business processes, including program scheduling, contracting strategies, procurement (including major electrical equipment such as transformers, breakers, and switchgear), project controls, estimating, and coordination across engineering, construction, commissioning, and operations.
