Maintains golf course turf and grounds by tilling, cultivating and grading new turf areas, applying prescribed amounts of fertilizer, insecticide, and fungicide, mowing rough and fairway areas at designated cut, mowing turf on green and tee areas, digging and raking ground to prepare new greens, grading and cleaning traps, repairing roadbeds, setting up tees and hole locations, trimming decorative trees and brush, watering turf and grounds as needed, and reporting non-routine findings to the Course Maintenance Assistant Superintendent and/or Course Maintenance Superintendent. Under the direct supervision of the Lead Irrigation Technician, ensures irrigation systems are operational by manually turning on sprinkler stations, conducting visual assessments of sprinkler heads, repairing and/or replacing broken or missing parts, identifying and repairing minor leaks, and reporting major leaks to the Resort Lead Irrigation Technician.
