The Role The candidates will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairing of mechanical tools, air tools, pump and hydraulic equipment. The ability to climb ladders, work at heights, lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and work in confined spaces may be required. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT Specific to this position: The selected candidate will repair and maintain critical equipment and systems, which provide plant services, on a variety of equipment. This will include low and high pressure steam system, river water system, air compressors, demineralized water systems, calibration and preventive maintenance. The person should be a team player, highly motivated and work with minimal supervision. This position requires working day shift. Basic knowledge of plant operations, pipefitting, and troubleshooting control systems are a plus. Candidate should have a solid understanding, pumps, motors, boiler maintenance, boiler auxiliary systems, compressors and demineralized water systems. Knowledge of the basic steam cycle, water chemistry, automated boiler control systems, HP and LP Air systems, River water systems and burner management systems is a plus Must Have The ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs. and work in confined spaces may be required. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY SHIFT Nice to Have Ability to read and interpret basic blue prints and technical specifications and/or equipment repair manuals.
