p>In this role, you'll work closely with customers, railroads, carriers, shipping sites, and internal teams to manage shipment activity, resolve issues, and provide operational support throughout the transportation lifecycle. While the broader team manages the customer's full transportation network - including over-the-road freight - this role will primarily support the rail side of the operation and help ensure freight moves efficiently across the network.

Working knowledge of various databases utilized in accomplishing the research required to understand, track/monitor and improve submarine maintenance including Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (N-ERP), Product Data Reporting and Evaluation Program (PDREP), eCANNAB, the In-Service Submarine and Sustainment Reliability Portal (ISARP), the Naval Sea Logistics Center (NSLC) suite of tools, Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP), and Submarine Maintenance Monitoring Information Systems (SMMIS) is preferred. li>Leads the planning and execution of cost efficient domestic and international shipments, including routing, mode selection, consolidation, and carrier assignment.
li>Make sure deliveries are unloaded and vehicles moved at a timely pace in order to expedite deliveries, pickups, and courier services.
li>Operates order pickers, forklifts, pallet jacks, delivery vehicles and other equipment in the execution of duties and ensures safety guidelines are met in operating the equipment.

This role will report to the TSS Americas Supply Chain Manager and work directly with global and regional roles including Logistics Specialists, Supply Chain Leaders & Managers, Order Fulfillment Leaders, Continuous Improvement Leaders, Regional Planners, IT, and Sourcing & Logistics. This position manages logistics assets and processes/data to support targets consistent with business strategies, goals, customer service levels, inventory level, and capacity requirements and is accountable to develop feasible 3 to 24 month integrated logistics plans in support of the Supply Chain master plan.
