No formal education is required, however, extensive experience in the construction industry is essential, and as indicated in the Work Experience section, a working knowledge of all or several of the following areas is required: plumbing, electrical, telephone, HVAC, audio, outdoor irrigation, alarm systems, pool and spa, basic computer skills and experience with hand tools. Facilities Maintenance: Maintain in good working order and condition all areas of hotel utilities and basic functions (i.e.) electrical, plumbing, telephone, HVAC, audio systems, outdoor irrigation, elevators, alarm systems, pool systems, and all Guest Room amenities requiring maintenance.
