Operates, when required, under Lift Director supervision and works with crews on various types of activities associated with the heavy/civil, roadway and bridge construction industry that includes, but not limited to beam erection, demolition, concrete placement/construction, steel erection, pile driving and/or other construction lifting activities. Must be able to inspect and be responsible for correct selection of rated rigging (slings, cables, straps, blocks, hooks, shackles, etc.) and the crane appurtenances prior to lifting operations with assurances that all lifts are within load limits of equipment and correctly rigged.
