Safety & Pool Oversight * Monitor pool areas at all times to ensure the safety of members and guests * Enforce pool rules and safety guidelines in a professional and respectful manner * Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, providing first aid or CPR as needed * Remain alert and focused during all assigned shifts Member Experience * Greet members and guests and maintain a friendly, approachable presence * Answer questions and provide general assistance around the pool area * Help create a positive and enjoyable environment for all guests Pool Operations * Assist with opening and closing duties of the pool area * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and surrounding areas * Report any safety concerns, maintenance issues, or incidents to management Teamwork * Work closely with fellow lifeguards and club staff to ensure smooth daily operations * Communicate clearly with management regarding any concerns or incidents * Participate in team meetings and trainings as required What We're Looking For * Responsible, attentive, and safety-focused mindset * Friendly and professional demeanor * Strong communication and decision-making skills * Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations * Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions Requirements * Current Lifeguard Certification (required) * CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (required) * Must meet all New York State requirements for lifeguarding Schedule * Seasonal employment aligned with the summer season (approximately Memorial Day through Labor Day) * Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays * Must be available for a minimum of 3 days per week * Hours may vary based on weather and pool activity Seasonal Employment Information This is a seasonal position aligned with the Pine Hollow Club summer season. * Beautiful outdoor work environment * Supportive and professional team culture * Opportunity to build responsibility and leadership skills * Work with members and families in a positive, community-driven setting If you enjoy being active, working as part of a team, and helping create a safe and enjoyable experience for others, we'd love to hear from you.
