DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Under the supervision of the Dean of Kinesiology/Athletics, and in coordination with assistant coaches, athletic trainers and the equipment room staff, the softball head coach plans, organizes, and administers all tasks associated with the intercollegiate program, including recruitment and selection of student-athletes; student-athlete academic and personal advising; coordination of student-athlete transfer to four-year institutions; practice and game scheduling; pre-season and in-season student-athlete conditioning; enforcement of all State Commission (CCCAA), conference, and college recruitment, eligibility and participation rules; making travel arrangements; budget management; procurement of equipment and supplies; public and media relations; fundraising; field maintenance and setup; scheduling officials; and conference responsibilities.
