Assist in organizing, preparing, and conducting practices, training, and competitions; Recruit student-athletes in accordance with all Centre College, Southern Athletic Association, and NCAA rules and regulations; Provide assistance in the administration of the football program, as required; Represent the Centre Football to various institutions, students, parents, and the general public; Ability to follow and enforce safety procedures; Assist with the holistic development of football student-athletes; Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituents on and off campus; Actively participate in department-wide fundraising initiatives; Demonstrate an appreciation for and sensitivity to an inclusive academic community, fostering a welcoming environment for students, faculty, and staff from all social, economic, cultural, ideological, racial, and ethnic backgrounds. Demonstrated knowledge and coaching skills of the sport of football and its playing rules; a commitment to the Division III philosophy; Knowledge of NCAA and SAA rules; and a demonstrated ability to recruit, retain, and mentor student-athletes are essential.
