The physical and sensory demands of the position include: vision, effective speech and hearing for extensive telephone contact; repetitive motion; traveling; driving or riding in motor vehicle; standing, sitting, walking, bending, reaching, and stretching; lifting up to forty five (45) pounds unassisted and the ability to assist in lifting patients using appropriate lifting techniques and/or devices. A Limited Licensed Masters Social Worker (LLMSW) or a Licensed Bachelors Social Worker (LBSW) may be considered, but a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) is highly preferred.

li>If not currently certified, candidate must be enrolled in an MDE-approved School Social Worker (SSW) preparation program leading to an MDE-issued School Social Worker certificate by the first day of employment.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk, hear (in a quiet or noisy environment).
