p>The Education, Interpretation, and Volunteer Section (EDPV) provides statewide formal and informal educational programs and activities to Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) customers (internal and external) and constituents (hunters, anglers, outdoor recreationists, schools, etc.); develops organizational statewide partnerships with internal and external stakeholders regarding shared/common interests (participant recruitment and outreach, resource conservation, education, etc.); recruits, trains, and coordinates the use of volunteers statewide in a variety of activities and programs relating to Colorado's wildlife, outdoor recreation resources, and the management of those resources. The new, full-time position is the coordinator and content expert for Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) distance learning program, expanding the agencys capabilities to engage with staff and the public through use of online platforms including live and recorded virtual programs and trainings, educational video development, website development and maintenance, and consultation with staff on the use of different types of online engagement tools for educational purposes.
