Exceptions where it is strongly preferred include Pittsburgh, Oklahoma, El Paso, DFW, and Central PA (WellSpan Hospitals) Wisconsin (required only for EMT-P roles) ā¢ Current PALS certifications through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross, strongly preferred ā¢ For the Las Vegas market only, one of the following is required: ā¢ Active Paramedic (EMT-P) license, maintained throughout employment (OR) ā¢ Active Advanced EMT (A-EMT) license, maintained throughout employment (OR) ā¢ Completion of an IV certification course (one-time requirement) AND one of the following: Active phlebotomy license, maintained throughout employment (OR) Lab Assistant certification, maintained throughout employment.
