Coordinate physical science, physics, astronomy, and chemistry laboratory and field activities: maintaining budget and ordering of materials and supplies; scheduling, hiring and training of laboratory assistants; preparing materials and equipment needed for laboratory and field instruction; maintaining inventory and equipment; providing security of laboratory and storage areas; troubleshooting and repair of broken equipment; maintaining and providing necessary records.
