Responsibilities of the Field Service Technician include In-field Repair and Replacement of: Remove and Replace Pumps and Motors Laser Alignment of Pumps and Motors Vibration analysis preferred Start-ups & troubleshooting Mechanical Seal Changes API and ANSI Pumps Centrifugal and Plunger Pumps Must be proficient with precision measuring instruments Knowledge of dynamic balancing a plus. Summary: The Field Service Technician will repair, fabricate, install and remove a variety of centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, and reciprocating pumps as well as other related rotating equipment, both in-shop and in the field; also, system troubleshooting, field alignment and equipment start-up, maintain company vehicles and shop equipment, accurately and professionally complete all field tickets and job reports.
