Under the direction of a Manager I, this position provides technical support to the public and field offices answering program related questions and coordinating assistance to insurance companies, field offices, headquarters units, and contact centers; reviews vehicle records using a computer and various departmental software applications to determine if a vehicle is currently insured; takes payments; and issues correct inventory. Confidential information that should be excluded or removed includes, but is not limited to, your Social Security number (SSN), birthdate, student identification number, driver license number (unless required), photograph, Limited Examination and Appointment Program (LEAP) status, gender, marital status, ethnicity, and age.
