p>Summary: The Health Services Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative, financial, and operational support to the Health Services department by preparing communications and reports; coordinating confidential projects; managing substitute staffing for health room paraeducators; and supporting daily office operations. Adhere to current financial policies and procedures; independently seek training and guidance on new policies and procedures which will include but is not limited to, submitting Travel Reimbursement and Credit Card Reconciliations for adult clinical faculty, and others as needed/requested.
If you work, visit, or volunteer in healthcare facilities or clinics operated by our affiliated hospital or clinical partners or by CU Anschutz, you will be required to comply with the vaccination and medical surveillance policies of the facilities or clinics where you work, visit, or volunteer, respectively. Apply scheduling, payment, and records-release guidelines to determine appropriate next steps when patient requests or documentation are incomplete, unclear, or require additional review.
The Administrative Assistant II performs intermediate-level administrative support duties with growing responsibility and independence, while the Administrative Assistant III performs advanced administrative coordination and operational support functions requiring a higher degree of technical knowledge, problem-solving, discretion, and decision-making responsibility. The position supports Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects, stormwater regulatory compliance efforts, cross-departmental coordination, and customer service functions while serving as a key point of contact for internal staff, external agencies, contractors, vendors, and the public.
