THE WORK: - You’ll serve as Deputy Construction Manager, supporting the CM in overseeing day-to-day construction activities across complex transportation and capital infrastructure projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: - Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field OR an additional four (4) years of construction-related experience in lieu of degree.
Familiarity with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems such as; electrical power distribution, high pressure air generation and storage, compressors, boilers, steam generation, industrial heaters (electrical, natural gas, methane, hydrogen, or other), instrumentation and control systems for industrial processes, buildings for industrial use, water cooling for industrial equipment (pumps, heat exchangers, etc.), hydraulic systems, gas process handling equipment (valves, piping, regulators, instrumentation), reliability and availability best practices, operations and maintenance. Leading the project team to collect, track, analyze, review, transform, disseminate, visualize, configuration manage, and control proposals, briefings, Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), contract deliverables, contract data, baselines, and technical documents such as the Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP), Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP) / commissioning plan, Life Cycle Sustainment Plan (LCSP), Program Protection Plan (PPP), and others.
