The CIO oversees the design, development, production, testing, and maintenance of all types of technology solutions; develop and maintaining partnerships with a wide array of people at every level including governmental agencies, vendors, industry for the purposes of continuous learning, process improvement, change management and effective collaboration; and identifies and implements best practices to effectively manage a 24X7 system necessary for utility operation. Coordinate with other senior managers to develop plans and measures that address cyber security threats and risks as well as coordinate with system managers, developing cyber security polices and guidance consistent with the laws and regulations that govern and guide them such as executive orders, cyber security directives and national policies governing IT.
