One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1.) Preparing literature review summary reports for team review; 2.) Organizing information using library applications/databases and reference tools such as cataloging and indexing systems; 3.) Researching scientific and technical publications, bibliographies, indexes, card catalogs, scientific journals, and reference books; and 4.) Assisting staff operating microcomputer software and hardware. In addition, in order to qualify for a Technical Information Specialist, GS-1412 position at the GS-12 level, you must have: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service obtained in either the private or public sector, performing the following types of tasks: 1.) Analyzing scientific or statistical data to prepare reports for management (e.g., literature reviews).
