Director will also determine the appropriate size and scope of an internal audit program for the USOPC, and will establish the internal audit function and compliance audit function and will be responsible for all aspects of both functions, including developing an appropriately sized and scoped program using industry-wide principals as benchmarks, working with the applicable oversight committee(s) to develop the scope and frequency of internal and compliance audits, and determining staffing needs. Director, Internal Audit and NGB Audit, leads the USOPC’s efforts to conduct compliance audits of National Governing Bodies (NGB) to assess NGBs’ adherence to the membership requirements set forth in the Ted Stevens Olympic and Amateur Sports Act, USOPC Bylaws, and other USOPC policies (collectively the “Requirements”).
