ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Collects and processes payments for installation fees, deposits, water utilities or other city bills or charges from customers; processes returned checks; Establishes new customer accounts, prepares work orders for meter issues, service connections and disconnects; Communicates with citizens and other City employees by telephone, email and/or in person exchanging necessary information regarding accounts, service complaints and other concerns; Performs a variety of clerical duties, including composing correspondence, completing forms, and posting information; Maintains, reviews, and makes customer agreements for payment of utility bills; Reviews and generates delinquent and cut-off lists, seeks to collect on final accounts; and. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school education or equivalent; Must possess a valid Oklahoma Driver's License; Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task; One year of general office/clerical experience in receiving and accounting for money and a high degree of public contact; One year of Customer Service experience; and.
