Perform plumbing repair and installation; operates and/or utilizes hand and power tools (e.g., wrenches, pipe threads, sewer machine, drill, torch, electric hammer, etc.) to unclog toilets, sinks, and sewer lines; installs water, steam, and gas lines according to specifications and plumbing codes; cuts, welds, and threads pipe; replaces valves, traps, thermostats, etc. Operates hand tools, power tools, and ladders to maintain and repair district facilities (e.g., basic carpentry, painting, and mechanical tasks, etc.); assists with major repair installation, and remodeling projects; moves furniture, supplies, and miscellaneous equipment.
