Responsibilities Process unsellable or excess donated goods using baler equipment and maintain consistent productivity Load, unload, and move materials for incoming and outgoing shipments Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to handle materials safely Receive and sort donations including clothing, household goods, and furniture Work in warehouse or dock areas as assigned based on operational needs Operate a 24-foot truck to pick up donations and assist with loading and securing items Maintain a clean and safe workspace, including proper stacking, use of pallets, and airflow under stored materials Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements Provide professional and respectful service to donors and represent the organization appropriately Remove unsellable or damaged items from the sales floor as assigned Perform general warehouse duties and basic outdoor or grounds work as needed Follow all store and organizational procedures Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED preferred Related warehouse, retail, or driving experience preferred SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record Ability to operate or obtain forklift certification within 90 days Ability to operate baler equipment Ability to lift and move donated goods, including furniture COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS Generous paid time off Paid holidays Sick leave Personal days Bereavement Leave Excellent medical, dental, and vision benefits Short-term and long-term disability Retirement plan * Benefits may vary based on position classification and eligibility.
