Located within the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), the Civil and Forensic Mental Health (CFMH) is comprised of the two state inpatient acute-care psychiatric hospitals, Forensic Services, Mental Health Transitional Living Homes, Adolescent Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF), as well as all of the critical units that enable the work of the hospitals and other Divisions, which include: financial services, information management, Medicare/Medicaid and HIPAA compliance, hospital safety and security, and the CMHIP police. What Youll Be Doing: Admissions, Discharges and Transfers: This position collaborates with the various stakeholders, including state psychiatric facilities, county jails, private hospital contractors, court services, outpatient restoration, admissions program, legal records, and transport to ensure essential information is communicated as needed for admission, discharge, transfers, and continuity of care for civilly certified individuals moving to and from private hospital beds.
