Overview Dental HygienistPeriodontology, Inc We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality preventive dental care, educating patients on oral hygiene, and supporting the dental team in delivering an exceptional patient experience. Your clinical expertise and patient-first mindset will play a vital role in promoting long-term oral health for our community. Schedule: Full Time, 4 days/week 7:00am - 4:30pm Responsibilities <ul><li>Perform thorough dental cleanings including scaling, polishing, and root planing as needed</li><li>Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)</li><li>Conduct oral health assessments and chart conditions of teeth and gums</li><li>Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care</li><li>Apply sealants and fluoride treatments when appropriate</li><li>Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols</li><li>Assist the dentist during exams and procedures as needed </li><li>Document patient care and treatment plans accurately in the dental record</li><li>Monitor and maintain hygiene supplies and equipment</li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other regulatory standards</li><li>Please note that additional responsibilities may be assigned</li></ul> Qualifications Requirements <ul><li>Valid Dental Hygiene license in the state of practice</li><li>Associate degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program </li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Gentle and compassionate chairside manner</li><li>Proficiency with dental software and digital charting</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team</li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality care</li><li>Familiarity with common dental procedures and patient education techniques </li></ul>We Offer<ul><li>Competitive Compensation</li><li>Benefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!</li></ul> Specialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies and independently owned supported clinical practices are proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers.
