The facility specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults experiencing acute psychiatric disturbances with diagnoses of autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, or other neurodiversities comorbid with either mood, thought, and/or behavioral disorders. • The new associate will join an experienced multidisciplinary team consisting of child & adolescent psychiatrists, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, behavior therapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
li>Initiates, coordinates and ensures ongoing communication with the physician and other members of the interdisciplinary health care team, including evaluating patients and family centered health teaching .Provides direct patient care, evaluates outcomes, and adjusts nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care. They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patients' status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patients' requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.
