This clinical social worker plays a vital role in providing specialized psychosocial assessment/evaluation pre-transplant, cellular, or gene therapy for patients and caregivers, as well as ongoing psychosocial support and multidisciplinary collaboration. This clinical social work role involves partnering with the medical team to provide collaborative care and planning for challenging and complex patient needs in preparing for cellular therapies, such as bone marrow transplant or CAR-T cell therapy.
