Duties may include the following: transport patients; assist nursing personnel in the care and lifting of patients; stock oxygen tanks on units; transport specimens, medical records and other supplies and equipment to other units; perform light housekeeping duties as assigned; lift patients and heavy items such as supplies and equipment; and respond to various emergency codes, such as a "Code Blue.". If you answered "Yes" to the question above, a scan of your current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate issued by the American Heart Association or Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificate issued by the American Red Cross must be submitted with your application prior to the filing deadline as an attachment.
