The Health Unit Coordinator I assists the inpatient nursing staff by performing clerical duties and other related work, which includes but not limited to answering the telephone, maintaining supplies, copying and filing documents, scheduling appointments, performing errands and other duties as assigned. The housing coordinator will work with local housing resources, non-profit and for-profit housing providers, and other agencies to develop housing resources necessary for moving individuals from the streets and shelters into permanent housing and ensuring successful transition and community tenure of people leaving nursing facilities and other institutional settings.
