Some employees may be subject to random drug testing if their responsibilities include: Emergency response/rescue Handling or working with hazardous materials, including chemicals as well as solid and liquid waste Operating or maintaining water and wastewater systems Writing or modifying code, maintaining or modifying City data systems including work on networks, servers, and communication systems CDL operations and driving Operating power-driven machinery or equipment Creating or modifying health, financial, security and or risk documents or assessments Working with or directing minors Positions in this class typically require: stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. on City grounds Eligible to drive vehicles (cars or light duty trucks) on public roadways with the following restrictions: o Driving is limited to daylight hours o Cannot have more than three (3) passengers o Cannot drive more than 33% of the scheduled workday or 20% of scheduled workweek o Cannot operate a vehicle over 6,000 pounds o Cannot tow vehicles OR trailers Must meet strict driving eligibility criteria in order to drive on public roadways: o Must have a valid Wyoming driver's license o Cannot have ANY prior moving violations Must have taken AND passed a drivers education course The City of Casper does not offer any benefits for employees who hold regular part-time positions who do not meet minimum hours worked.
