p>Our ideal candidate will have: • Over 5 years of supervisory experience leading a team of up to 20 team members performing a wide variety of labor work in various locations, including employee engagement and relations • Experience managing multiple vendors that perform janitorial, landscaping, yards and grounds, trash, and pest control • Excellent problem-solving skills and is comfortable resolving conflicts • Hands-on leadership style, accessible to the team for mentoring and guidance • Capacity to support an open culture of learning; be able to give and receive feedback to move the people and organization to a better place • Experience working with contractors, building relationships, and maintaining communication • Experience conducting in-depth audits/inspections and presenting findings to stakeholders • Willingness to learn and improve by acting on feedback to better support General Services • Experience with snow duties - ability to plow or willingness to learn and manage snow tasks • Mechanical inclination to know what needs to be fixed and maintained on vehicles and equipment • Have a track record of safety excellence • Conducted HR performance reviews, documentation and necessary investigations in a prior position.
