Some experience using hand tools, working in roles that require physical labor including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry concepts is referred to. While performing the duties of this job, the Technician is regularly required to stand for extended intervals with occasional scheduled breaks, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear. The essential duties and responsibilities of the Service Technician position may consist of some or all, and are not limited to, the following: - Valve or Instrumentation start-up, configuration and documentation, calibration, trouble shooting, installation review and problem-solving solutions or systems, and repair. While specific daily tasks can vary depending on the current workload, service activities include: instrumentation startup, configuration and documentation, calibration, troubleshooting, installation review, and problem-solving solutions or systems.
