As a Midas automotive service manager, you will manage and direct all automotive and general service technicians in the operation of the shop, including: Deliver exceptional customer service while listening and consulting customers. We are looking for automotive service managers to manage and direct all service department activities of a retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. Tightening body and chassis bolts; checking and filling brake systems, hydraulic assemblies, differentials and transmissions for proper lubricant and fluid level; replacing such items as filters, belts, hoses, windshield wipers and similar automotive parts. The successful candidate will be expected and must obtain a Master Auto/Light Truck Certification or ASE Master Medium/Heavy Truck Certification, within 18 months of being hired. p>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must possess mobility to work in a warehouse environment and in the field; strength, stamina, and mobility to perform medium to heavy physical work; to sit, stand, and walk on level, uneven, or slippery surfaces; frequently reach, twist, turn, kneel, bend, stoop, squat, crouch, grasp and make repetitive hand movement in the performance of daily duties; to climb and descend from fire apparatus and vehicles, to operate varied hand and power tools and construction equipment, and to operate a motor vehicle and visit various County sites; vision including color vision to inspect and operate equipment.
