Applies appropriate skills, cleaning techniques, procedures and effective use of equipment and products to a wide range of surfaces, while engaged in stripping and refinishing floors, burnishing and buffing floors, shampooing carpets and upholstery; in addition to sweeping, dust mopping, damp/wet mopping, dusting, polishing, scrubbing, vacuuming and waste removal. Assignments may include working off 6 foot ladders and the use of simple hand tools while exchanging window drapes, curtains, venetian blinds, cubical curtains, shower curtains, and washing glass, walls, and ceiling vents.
