In this role you will: Manage the execution of subcontracts for prime mission equipment material through the development phase of the program lifecycle Evaluate, negotiate, and manage assigned subcontract relationships to execute to each project's specifications, quality, budget, schedule, and earned value requirements, to include the timely delivery of all deliverables required to fulfill the subcontract Author, manage, and influence critical path releases of Supplier Statements of Works (SSOWs) and plans to align with required schedules and subcontractor lead times Deliver quality customer service to both internal and external customers, and foster and maintain good supplier relationships, while driving a Zero Defect mindset with suppliers Participate in the development of financial plans for the company, as it pertains to the planned outsourced portion of the project(s) to which you are assigned Who you are: You seamlessly work independently while also managing cross-functional program teams on all subcontract-related issues You are able to assess, prioritize, and drive issues and actions to closure You are a customer-service oriented team player, who can also be assertive when required You exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of your job duties You demonstrate best practice work habits and naturally collaborate with other team members to promote operational excellence You have strong organizational skills to handle many overlapping projects simultaneously You model and exhibit uncompromising ethics, safety, corporate responsibility, and security Required Education, Experience, & Skills Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time Typically a Bachelor''s Degree and 6 years work experience or equivalent experience Experience in Subcontract Management, Project Management or Program Management Demonstrated experience with negotiation skills and strategies Experience in new business capture to include proposals Experience developing long-term strategies and tactical plans to achieve enterprise objectives Successful, proven record of leading and managing multi-discipline project teams Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship building, leading through influence, and the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) at all levels Experience with scope management and cost estimating, including estimate to complete/estimate at completion (ETC / EAC) processes Ability to communicate with senior management regarding subcontract performance status (cost / schedule / resources / risk) as well as performance to financial objectives Experience communicating externally either with customers or suppliers Technical and business acumen Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Operations Master's Degree in Engineering and/or Business Administration Prior experience in project management Experience leading cross-functional teams / Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) Program Management Professional (PMP) certification Demonstrated Risk Management experience Experience with information systems such as Oracle Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures with associated knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations (DFAR) * Control Account Management (CAM) experience and/or Earned Value (EV) certification Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $115779 - $196825 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
