Responsibilities Fleet maintenance management Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance on all equipment troubleshooting and/or determine if repairs will be done in the field, Wanzeks shop, a dealership or other method Travel to jobsites for repairs, inspections, review field maintenance to ensure it is done properly, review maintenance reports Onsite field repairs/troubleshooting Update the equipment locator list and update equipment and tool inventory Develop and maintain an equipment maintenance tracking database Maintain proper record keeping Update tool inventory Operate equipment to diagnose problems and inspect equipment for defects Ensure all equipment has an equipment ID (logo, unit numbers, digital photos) Verify USDOT annual inspections in trucks and on file in office Ensure equipment safety (i.e. backup alarms, lights, seat belts, fire extinguishers, rigging, etc.) Show expertise in all basic and complex machines, including crane safety (anti two blocks, rigging, crane maintenance daily log book/annual inspection, etc.); investigate or question others to ensure logs and two blocks are correct, etc. One or more of the following certifications: Electrical diagnostics and repair cert, A/C system diagnostics and repair cert, Welding Certification, OEM certification (JD Tech, CAT Tech, Case IH Tech, Komatsu Tech, Ford, Kenworth, Liebherr) Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Take reasonable care of your own and others health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzeks Zero Injury principles Qualified to drive the 1-ton rig on site and from project to project Ability to Diagnose complex problems in systems including mechanical, hydraulic and electrical Ability to Supervise and coordinate the work of a 3rd party mechanic.
